Project Play - Week 3 - Blogger

Zombie Meets Girl, Zombie Eats Girl (No, not in a good way either...)
Gary, a small-town Midwestern zombie sets his sights on the reanimated night life of New Orleans. In a small zydeco dive he meets the girl of his dreams - a great big Cajun princess named Annie Robichaux. She was perfect for him. Spicy, saucy, sweet and - delicious.

But unfortunately, she didn't, um, agree with him. Gary battles remorse and indigestion.

Project Play - Week 1 - Getting Started

So I had this idea for a blog...

Last week I had every intention of creating my blog, but only got as far as “create your blog title.” And then, dead blank, zero creative energy and - end of blog creation. (Read on or insert “dog ate my homework excuses” here.)

I decided to go home and sleep on it, examine my life and try to find what I have to offer the blogging world. (do I tend to take homework assignments way too seriously – ah, yes) Think, think, think! As I was drifting off to sleep I came up with the perfect idea. My blog will be called “Judge a Book by its Cover.”

I work in a public library and see interesting book covers and titles every day. And every day, I play a little game in my head that I like to call “Judge a Book by Its Cover.” I make up my own goofball synopsis or author biography. (It takes so little to amuse me. Don’t pity me, I like to count it as one of my good qualities.)

It’s perfect for me. It’s fun and I’ll never run out of material.

Unfortunately, it’s already been done. Kinda. And it’s been done very well by this blogger at http://www.judgeabook.blogspot.com

Despair. OK, maybe not despair, but definitely frustration and end of blog creation.

No, wait. I’ve decided that what I want to do is not exactly the same as that frustratingly good blog. My decision has nothing to do with the fact that I can’t come up with something else. Really.
